The 1st XI play their home games on Sevenoaks Vine

The 1stXI play in the Kent Premier League and are one of only two sides to do so since its formation.  Whilst the 1st XI is often looked upon as the focal point of some clubs, Sevenoaks Vine is very much a whole club and our goal is to improve every cricketer and ensure they play at the best possible standard.

We approach our league cricket in a very professional manner and it is hoped that this approach gives every player the opportunity to perform to the best of their ability.

Our 1st XI finished 5th in 2011 and improved on that in 2012 to finish a very creditable 3rd having spent a few weeks at the top; we hope we can kick on next season and challenge for the Premier League trophy.

In 2012 we collected no less than four Kent League awards in the 1st team (Fabian Cowdrey as best batter, Tom Parsons as best bowler, Fabian Cowdrey as young player of the year and the Brian Luckhurst Spirit of Cricket award) and one for the 2nd team (League Champions).

Here is KP picking up the Brian Luckhust Spirit of Cricket award.  We play to  win, but we play fair.
