Membership

If you wish to play or to watch cricket in the Sevenoaks area then SVC and SVCC would be delighted to welcome you as a member. We welcome cricketers of all ages and abilities and there can be few better places for non-playing members to watch the game than at the historic Vine ground.

Based on the Government’s advice, the ECB recommended the suspension of all recreational cricket on 18 March. This suspension remains in place until further notice in order to keep everyone in the cricket family safe – this is our upmost priority.

This suspension extends to training, pre-season friendlies and any associated cricket activity.

The club is an open club and everyone is invited to join.  We have two sections, Juniors and Seniors, with the following classes of membership:-

Existing members (including Non-Playing Members) should use the link emailed to them to re-join / pay / donate for the new season or click on the link below.

Junior Summer Training 2020
Location:  Sevenoaks Vine Otford Ground (34 Leonard Ave, Otford, Sevenoaks TN14 5RB)

Junior Summer Training is currently postponed. We will be following Government and ECB advice on any possible start dates.

Our original plan for the season was….

2020 promises to be an exciting year for the Sevenoaks Vine Junior section. Along with our soft ball Minis (U7 & U9) we will be running a record six hardball teams across the U11s, U13s and U15s, with a view to expanding that further in 2021.

Coaching will, again, be under the direction of ECB Level Two qualified Miles Richardson, who is also a senior member of the Vine 1st XI. Training in the summer will take place as follows:

Minis (U7 & U9) – Sundays 10am to midday at Hollybush Lane Hockey Field – a return to that venue (not as pretty as Otford but a coffee shop nearby), Sun 26th April – Sun 19th July

U11s – Fridays from 6pm at Otford, depending on light these sessions will be 90 minutes or two-hours. Fri 24th April – Fri 17th July

U13s and U15s – Thursdays from 6pm at Otford, depending on light these sessions will be 90 minutes or two-hours. Thu 23rd April – Thu 16th July

Girls: We will continue to run separate Girls training on Fridays from 6pm at Otford, depending on light these sessions will be 90 minutes or two-hours. Fri 24th April – Fri 17th July
