- Boys and Girls can start their cricketing experience with the Vine from the U7 level.
- We aim to provide a balanced programme of skills coaching and training in low ratio groups with experienced and qualified coaches. They will be assisted by Dads who have played the game and both past and present first and second team squad members.
- Every week the boys and girls will learn new skills, take part in drills and play a match. The emphasis is on fun and enjoyment!
- As always, we would welcome support from all Parents who would like to get involved. If you have played in the past, so much the better, but there are many opportunities for all abilities and access to ECB Coaching training courses is available.
- As we are the pipeline for the Club we are thrilled to see that many of our boys and girls go on to play through the junior sides before graduating to the senior club
Training
Summer training will begin on Sunday 18th April from 10am at Hollybush Astro!
Tournaments
- We enter two U8 teams into the MINI SUPER 8s tournament (Kwik Cricket format)
- We aim to give all our boys and girls the chance to play in a tournament
- That said, we are always looking for opportunities to give everyone the chance to play competitive cricket.
Tournaments at the U8 level are not intended for experienced hardball players.
