ALL STARS CRICKET

21 Mar 2017 - Tom Parsons

ECB’s ambitious cricket project for 5-8 year-olds comes to The Vine.

SVCC are pleased to announce that SVCC just been selected as one of the Kent regional All Stars Cricket Centres. The All Stars programme is a nationwide initiative directed by the ECB, seeking to introduce cricket to 5 – 8 year-olds who might not otherwise be drawn to or feel a connection to cricket. For just £40 (paid directly to the ECB), children receive 8 one-hour play sessions at their local club plus a participant backpack including a cricket bat, ball, personalised shirt, cap and water bottle.

Mike Thompson and Piers Robinson have stepped up to run the program for the club and we are excited by the prospect of being a part of the All Stars network, which aligns closely with our strategies of bringing cricket to the community.
