Nigel and Adrian

It is with great sadness that we learn of the death of club member and Vice President Nigel Hollamby at the age of 90 over the weekend, seen here with another sadly missed friend Adrian Greenwood.

Nigel will forever be remembered by the club for his great humour and his unwavering support and organisation, one of his many initiatives being the club flagpole and flag which is flying at half mast today and will be on Saturday.

Saturday afternoons at the Vine will not be the same and our thoughts and good wishes go to all the family.

    1. Rest well Nigel and thank-you for all that you have done for this club over the many years of your tireless work and commitment. Not least of which was teaching me how to put a flag up correctly and on every appropriate occasion, and it’s a lesson of which I hope I am doing you proud by passing onto to the next generation!

Our thoughts of course go out to Guy and all the family at this sad time.

You, and indeed Adrian, were true gents and wonderful human beings who I am extremely proud to have known.
