The Old Oaks got back to winning ways last Friday against an experienced Plaxtol side containing a few familiar faces.

Plaxtol batted first, facing a rejuvenated Rumbelow charging up the hill. Dickinson was the pick of their batting, retiring on 25.  The Old Oaks attack contained them well though and Bonze took some two outstanding catches so after their 18 allotted overs they had a very gettable 99.

The former skip opened the batting and was in no rush, their opening bowler returned figures of 4 overs for 6 runs and the run rate shot up to 7 an over for a while but the Old Oaks always looked in control and reached the total with 5 balls to spare.
